Accountability and Goals

When you share your goals with others, you are more accountable because it sucks to have to say you've done nothing to accomplish the things you set out to do. Answering only to myself will not motivate me but knowing that others know my goals makes me feel more accountable and it drives me towards completion. Even though I am the only person who will likely see this here, it will have the same effect because once I hit 'publish', it is out there... So here are my plans/goals for 2014: Create and stick to a budget; track spending better Create a solid savings plan and stick to it! Get a pedicure every 6 wks (make the time to take care of myself) Get cut/highlight every 8-10 wks (make the time to take care of myself) Do at least 36 squats per day. Goal - 50/day by March 1st Turbo Fire 3x/week. Cook meals at least 3x/week with E Reduce eating out to 2x/month. Only 1 can be fast food Stick to fitness plan and eat better to lose 10 lbs by 4/1; 25+ total lbs for the year Don’t leave the house looking homeless Go to church at least 2x/month Begin meditation routine and stick to it. Want to reduce anxiety Set a better example when it comes to making yourself a priority Setup and USE a new blog - done! Don't settle; don't be afraid to ask "is it enough for me" and if not, move on There we have it. I have all this on a spreadsheet so I can track progress. We will see how I do. I made some goals for E as well. We'll be tracking together. She'll thank me for making her do stuff like this when she is older, right??? hahaha :) Closing quote - whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are right
